AMATI does not collect or create biometric information about you.

Certain services may require identity verification. If you are asked to submit proof of identity, such as a driver’s license or passport, AMATI may share that documentation and any selfie you submit with an identity verification partner.

That partner may create biometric information from your facial image solely to verify that your selfie matches your identification document.

Such biometric information is not shared with AMATI and is deleted by the identity verification partner after the identity verification process is completed.

AMATI may receive information extracted from your submitted photographs, including information from an identification document and the confidence that there is a match between submitted images.

AMATI may use this information to assist with identity verification.

AMATI may also receive information from Providers who provide treatment or other services through the Service.

This information may include diagnoses, treatment plans, prescription details, and notes.

We may also receive information from third parties that pay for healthcare services or provide treatment, laboratory services, or prescription medications.

Such information may include prescription histories and laboratory test results.

AMATI Communications

HIPAA does not necessarily apply simply because health information is involved. Depending on the circumstances, HIPAA may not apply to transactions or communications involving AMATI, Providers, Medical Groups, or Pharmacies.

Applicable state privacy laws may nevertheless apply.

To the extent AMATI is considered a “business associate,” and solely in that capacity, AMATI may be subject to applicable HIPAA requirements concerning “protected health information” that you provide to applicable Providers, Medical Groups, or Pharmacies (“PHI”).

Medical or health information protected under applicable state laws, together with PHI, is referred to in this Privacy Policy as “Protected Information.”

Protected Information will be used and disclosed only as permitted by applicable law.

Information that does not constitute Protected Information under applicable law may be used or disclosed as otherwise permitted under this Privacy Policy.

Protected Information does not include information that has been de-identified in accordance with HIPAA.

Sale of Personal Information
